Close this Season with Chocolate, Beer and Cocktails

As fall continues to unfold, flavors evolve. We’ve mentioned pumpkin spice treats and harvest festivals in our list of NYC fall bucket list. Peak fall foliage and Halloween may have come and gone, but this season still has a few events that will have you smacking your lips.

Salon du Chocolat

Location: Javits Center, 429 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10001
Dates: November 16-17, 2019
Tickets: Starting at $10
New York’s Salon du Chocolat is the most artistic and delicious cacao-inspired event in the city. Although Salon du Chocolat is held in various cities around the world, Javits Center adds a little extra to this event. Nowhere else will you find a larger gathering of experts, chocolatiers, pastry chefs and artisans who share a passion for chocolate. The event offers unique opportunities to taste, shop, photograph and admire all things chocolate.

Beerathon

Location: Check in at Wicked Willy’s, 149 Bleecker Street, New York, NY 10012
Dates: November 16, 2019 from 12pm to 10pm
Tickets: From $55 per person
Beerathon is New York’s answer to those who missed Oktoberfest. Here’s how it works: your ticket grants you admission to 13 venues in Manhattan, each serving two 6-ounce beers. Venues range from lively bars like Coyote Ugly to traditional pubs like Pluc Uglies. Most of them are located around Greenwich and East Village. Your ticket comes with a map to help you navigate these neighborhoods.

A Spirited History Of Drinking

Location: New World Stages, 340 W 50th Street, New York, NY 10019
Dates: Starting November 14, 2019. Consult website for more dates.
Tickets: From $89 per person
A Spirited History of Drinking is an Off-Broadway musical comedy great for a unique evening out. An expert mixologist explores the history of alcohol over the last 10,000 years while educating, singing and brewing drinks. Since the show includes three complementary craft cocktails, it’s only open to people who are 21 and over.
